Drift City Remastered Car Livery
Car liveries made for the online racing game 'Drift City Remastered'. The first version of this game was released in 2007 but has since shut down. Since then a group of developers have revived the project creating a private server.
Since the implementation of  'stickers,' we are allowed to upload images in-game and then apply them to our vehicles. Using this system allows us to create liveries for any cars we wish.
To create a car livery, I had to grab the 3D model of the cars from the game's files. Because the game was developed in 2007, the initial developers used the 3D modeling software 'NifSkope'. Using this I was then able to extract the UV of the model and design on top of that to give me the exact dimensions that I needed. I then imported the UV into Illustrator and started to get to work. After finishing the design in Illustrator I then had to import it into Photoshop to cut it up into 11 pieces for the highest quality in-game.
A livery created for the Mazda RX-7 FC. The original design is from Mad Mikes 'MadBull RX-7 FD'. I have adapted the design to fit the RX-7 FC.
The original design is on the left, and on the right is the NifSkope model I re-created the design on.
A livery created for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX GT. The original design is based on the Toyo Tires Drift GR Supra which I have adapted to fit the Evo IX.
On the right is the original image I based the design on and on the left is the design on the model.
A replica of the '1989 Lancia Delta HF Integrale' livery that was used by legendary Macrus Gronholm and Iikka Riipinen. I referenced this website online, 'https://www.rallygraphics.fi/1989-lancia-delta-hf-integrale-gr-n' to re-create the livery for Drift City Remastered.
Below are reference images.
This is an original design that I created for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III. It's a take on the classic 'RALLIART' group 3 rally livery using the same colours and sponsors.
Another original design for the Mazda RX-7 FC
