Project 004
[ Project 004 - Nike Air Force 1 ]
Just a fun summer project to keep me busy. The goal of this project was to become more comfortable with MAXON Cinema4D, Octane Render, and Adobe After Effects. I wanted to work on something animated as I dabbled in it whilst at university but didn't pursue it much. Now I wanted to challenge myself to create something animated as I believe it would be a good skill to have in the future.
I decided to re-colour the famous Nike shoes 'Air Force 1' using a dark pearlescence style. I also created a wavy background in Cinema4D with this colour pattern. All the animation is done in Cinema4D and then rendered using Octane Render. I then imported it into Adobe After Effects to add the graphics and do any other touch-ups that needed to be done.
First time testing the pearlescent texture and rendering it onto something. Left is Cinema4D, right is Octane Render.
Doing camera work for the animation of the shoe. This is all done in Cinema4D.
The background wavy pattern effect. I created the model, textured and rendered the model in Cinema4D and Octane Render. I then exported it into After Effects to combine everything together.
