Nom Nom Nam
'Nom Nom Nam,' my final major project for university.
I wanted to focus on something that I’m passionate about which is food. With both my parents being immigrants from Vietnam, I’ve grown up eating a lot of authentic Vietnamese foods throughout my life and have also been exposed to Vietnamese culture by visiting multiple times.
The aim of this project is to bring more awareness of some of the different types of Vietnamese street foods that can be found throughout the country. I want people to know that there are many different types of unique foods specific to Vietnam that are extremely delicious. To do this I decided to create a food history and cookbook about street foods that can be found throughout the county.
The pictures in the project are all taken by myself. I like to do street photography as a hobby so when I traveled to Vietnam I took lots of pictures.
